Solihull Approach

Introduction

The Solihull Approach is about emotional health and wellbeing for all children, their parents, carers and grandparents. We are passionate about sensitive relationships, early years support and understanding brain development to help nurture kind, emotionally aware children as they grow.

The focus is on relationships because they shape who we are and are key to our development as human beings. Our training encourages reflective thinking with frameworks, tools and ideas that are proven to be transformative.

Workshops for parents / carers of young children

Two-hour workshops for parents / carers are offered by trained school staff supported by a dedicated workshop manual and resources. These sessions introduce information on early childhood development and what that means for behaviour and parental support and can be particularly beneficial around periods of transition or change.
