It is important to us that as a school we educate our staff, our pupils and our parents with the knowledge and skills to enable them to be able to analyse online material in a critical way, in order for them to keep themselves, and others, safe from harm. E-safety is a term which may also be known as ‘internet safety’, ‘online safety’ or ‘web safety’. And generally covers the safe and responsible use of technology.
Years 1-6 have all attended a workshop ran by the EST E-safety trainers John Woodley and John Staines, also known as The 2 Johns. They have been rated excellent by Ofsted and are considered experts in their field.
