Wrap Around Care at Tunstead Primary School
Working parents of Primary School aged children who are accessing before and after school childcare (also known as wraparound provision) can use Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit Childcare to help pay for Breakfast and After School childcare.
Tax-Free Childcare can be used by working families with children aged 0-11 years and earning under £100k and at least £167 per week, and who aren’t receiving Universal Credit or Tax Credits. For every £8 you pay into an online account, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2000 per child per year.
Universal Credit Childcare can be used by working families claiming Universal Credit with children under 17 years old. Up to 85% of eligible childcare costs can be reclaimed. Parents will need to speak to their work coach for more information.

After School Club Monday to Thursday 3.15pm – 5.45pm
After School Club held Monday – Thursday during term time. Children will be able to participate in a range of different activities and will also also receive a snack during the session. Children are to be collected from the visitors entrance through the staff carpark, no later than 5:45pm.
The cost is £11.50 per session. Parents should try and book places as far in advance as possible to allow for the allocation of staff. Invoices will be generated at the beginning of the term and added to your child’s ParentPay Account. These must be paid promptly to retain your space. If invoices remain outstanding, use of the After School Club may be withdrawn until your account is settled.

Breakfast Club 8 – 8:35am Daily
Breakfast club provision is open 5 mornings a week from 8.00am. Children will be offered a light breakfast of toast or cereal. All children attending will be taken into class at 8.35am.
The cost per session is £3.00, invoices will be generated at the beginning of the term and added to your child’s ParentPay Account. These must be paid promptly to retain your space.
